WELCOME TO THE HEALTH AND SAFETY
COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE
CSSHSA values the expertise of health and safety practitioners in social services and believes that their involvement is key to developing effective and appropriate resources that promote a safe and healthy environment in the social services sector. By facilitating a Community of Practice (CoP), we aim to connect professionals and foster knowledge-sharing for best practices in workplace and community health and safety.
Community of Practice Goals:
Our Community of Practice aims to foster collaboration, engagement, and advocacy in the field of health and safety. Through shared learning and collective experience, we strive to:
- Develop a common understanding of the challenges faced in social services and the health and safety measures needed to address them.
- Provide ongoing support to professionals in the field, helping them maintain confidence and high standards of practice.
- Share best practices, collaborate in developing resources, and continuously improve the health and safety landscape in social services.
