How the Advisory Panel Works
The Advisory Panel serves as a key liaison between the board of directors and the members. The Panel is comprised of occupational health and safety experts, HR professionals, and sectoral leaders from various member organizations. They provide technical and sectoral guidance to the CEO to fulfill the association’s vision and mission set by the Board.
The Panel members serve a three (3) year term and they are responsible for selecting sectoral representatives, and participating in the association’s development and strategic direction. They provide guidance on member initiatives, assist with conference and AGM planning, and serve as sectoral leaders. Additionally, they communicate with members, bring forward issues to the board, represent and communicate the organization’s initiatives, and enhance the organization’s overall effectiveness.
If you are interested in becoming an Advisory Panel member, send us your expression of interest for future consideration at healthsafety@csshsa.ca.
