Community of Practice: Musculoskeletal Injury (MSI) Prevention in Social Services – April 21

Join us for an engaging Community of Practice meeting focused on Musculoskeletal Injury (MSI) prevention in the social services sector. This session will provide a collaborative space for professionals to share and reflect on their current approaches to identifying and managing MSI risks.
Guided by CSSHSA Advisors, participants will explore what MSI prevention looks like within their organizations, discuss the types of MSI injuries most commonly reported, and consider the role fatigue plays in overexertion and injury. Through facilitated discussions and peer exchange, we will identify common challenges, share practical solutions, and uncover emerging trends related to MSI.
At the end of the session, we’ll reconvene to share key themes and takeaways, and discuss next steps for continued collaboration and improvement in MSI prevention across the sector. Whether you are developing, reviewing, or enhancing your MSI prevention efforts, this meeting is designed to support you with practical insights, shared learning, and fresh perspectives from peers to help strengthen how musculoskeletal risks are identified, addressed, and managed.
